Small Hive Beetle Trap

Tony Kennedy is a resident of Kundabung, in the Macleay Valley, New South Wales. He has been working in the beekeeping industry in Australia since 1977.

He became aware of the destructive capacity of the small hive beetle to a hive which has been infested and started looking for something which could be used to reduce the infestation of beetle in hives. His first trap was a simple device using a container found in most kitchens.

From this simple beginning, AJ's Beetle Eater has evolved through years of research and development into one of the simplest and most effective devices used in the fight against Small Hive Beetle today.
